Tunnel and siege of Sarajevo is a tour created for a better understanding of the event which took place in the Capital of Bosnia. Siege which lasted for almost 4 years, 1425 days of struggle under constant bombardment. Yet people of Sarajevo had a will to fight and survive, which was able to preserve Sarajevo as it is.
Siege of Sarajevo will be explained using the maps and stories which will be provided by our tour guide. That will be the first of the stories which will follow. War in Bosnia, creation of 3 different armies, Siege of Sarajevo, Srebrenica genocide and war outcome will be among the topics that the tour guide will be explaining in 2 hours.
On the tunnel many of the exhibits could help to understand the complexity of this demolishing event which took 11.541 lives of people of Sarajevo. You will be learning about how the community of Sarajevo would be able to adapt to these new circumstances that occured in their city.

During the ride towards the tunnel museum, which will be our first stop, tour guide will start with an introduction for the tour, through which he will give you more information about dissolution of Yugoslavia. Also, tour guide will explain the sites and buildings you see through your window and which were important during the siege of Sarajevo.
After we arrive to the tunnel museum tour guide will buy the tickets and you will enter in the area where we have maps, video and tools which will help us to explain you the conflict. Find out how the war started, why the National Library of BH was destroyed, how many people were involved in this conflict and which were the most important events for this war. You will watch the movie and get the explanation about the movie itself.
You’ll have the opportunity to hear the stories about life in the time of darkness in Sarajevo, yet the stories will be full of life and full of hope.
You’ll pass through 25 m of the original tunnel which the guide will explain together with the role of the tunnel during the siege.
Guide will summarize all of the significant events from the period 92-96. Also, near the end of the tour he will explain to you how this conflict was ended, and what would be the aftercause of the bloody event.
We will finish with good examples and positive stories, We will speak about the future and fight against fascism and with a positive attitude overall.
During the tour, transport will be organised and you will be transported to the Tunnel Museum with the tour guide who will be explaining everything on the way, inside of the tunnel museum and on the way back.

STARTING LOCATION OF THE TOUR
After you enter the vehicle tour guide will be doing an explanation about the tour and about the fall of Yugoslavia. You will be driving through one of the most notorious streets in Sarajevo, known as Sniper Alley.
Tunnel Museum is the key landmark of this tour as it provides whole set of tools to do a proper explanation. You will spend up to 1 and a half hour during which you will understand most of the important information
Panoramic view / explanation of the city
Along the way to the tunnel and on the way back, the guide will explain certain building which were having significant role in during the siege of Sarajevo. On this part of the tour you would be able to notice the difference which was created through the different regimes, on top of that also to some of the buildings which are still having some marks on its facade from the siege.
